Yet, the official, David Wildstein, didn’t produce the alleged proof.
Given that there is a lot of effort to try to do in Christie, and likely a lot of folks throwing things and money out there in the attempt, I’ll wait till we see the proof. Of course, Democrats are already off to the races with “Christie lied”.

Gov. Chris Christie knew about the George Washington Bridge lane closures that caused huge traffic jams in September — despite his claims last month denying knowledge of the shutdown, a former Port Authority official who oversaw the traffic mess said in a letter Friday.
David Wildstein — who was appointed by Christie but resigned in the wake of “Bridgegate” — contradicted Christie’s denials in a letter to the Port Authority.
“A person within the Christie administration communicated the Christie administration’s order that certain lanes on the George Washington Bridge were to be closed,” Wildstein attorney Alan Zegas wrote.“Evidence exists as well tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures, during the period when the lanes were closed, contrary to what the Governor stated publicly in a two-hour press conference [on Jan. 9.]”
Wildstein even said he can prove that Christie was lying when he repeatedly denied knowledge of the September closures – which the governor’s staff allegedly orchestrated to get back at Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich for not supporting his re-election bid.
“Mr. Wildstein contests the accuracy of various statements that the Governor made about him and he can prove the inaccuracy of some,” Zegas wrote — but left out what the proof would be.
