This story is a metaphor for Detroit at large.
Unfortunately, Detroit doesn’t have a prescient mother to come save it. All it has are the same Democrats that got it in this position to begin with, that would leave a city full of holes into which children can fall.
Thank God for the presence of this mother.

Monica Lindsey is a bus driver and her last-minute decision to take on a DPS route took her to her daughter’s school on Monday. But what Monica thought would be a pleasant surprise turned into something from a horror show.“I was angry. I had sweat, tears, and all I could think about was my daughter drowning in this hole right in front of my eyes!”
Her 8-year-old daughter fell into a flooded sinkhole. Lindsey says the water was up to her daughter’s neck.
“She was standing there waving and she just dropped to the ground! And when I looked all you [saw] was her head and her hand [waving]. And she’s like, ‘Mama help! Mama help!’ And I ran over there and I about lost my heart trying to get my baby out of that hole, and it hurt my heart so bad. And then after that, the other little boy came and fell right in,” Lindsey explains to FOX 2’s Andrea Isom.
