And I’m pretty sure his son doesn’t qualify for Medicaid.
Sen. Rand Paul detailed on Sunday his family’s personal trials with the Obamacare websites.
The Kentucky Republican said he attempted to help his son enroll in the Bluegrass State’s exchange — and his son was erroneously provided with a Medicaid card.
“We didn’t try to get him Medicaid; I’m trying to pay for his insurance,” the senator said on ABC’s “This Week,” showing the card on-camera. “But they automatically enrolled him in Medicaid. For a month, they wouldn’t talk to us because they said they weren’t sure he existed. He had to go down to the welfare office, prove his existence. Then the next thing we know, we get a Medicaid card.”
