“Inequality” is the false argument of the left. In all of humanity, there has always been inequality. You cannot guarantee equality of result, and the governments that have tried have failed. Because, as Charles Krauthammer notes in the above video, it’s primarily about bringing the rich and the employers down, which then has the natural consequence of killing the economy and the jobs of the very people you claim to be helping. We can see this being writ large right now in Venezuela, as any company with any sense is fleeing the country.

But if you accept the Left’s argument that inequality is a “thing” and that it’s “bad”, Barack Obama has actually made it worse. This is also what naturally seems to happen when you claim to be about “inequality”- it, and let’s be straight- your communist government- tends to create a “ruling class” of leaders who lord it over the rest.
