(PressTV) — Two separate explosions have claimed lives of at least five people and injured several others in the troubled eastern Afghanistan, security sources say.

In the first incident, at least two Taliban militants were killed and several others severely injured when their explosive devices went off prematurely in Kunar Province.

Local security officials said that the deadly blast took place in the house of a Taliban local commander on Friday evening.
