Modern Christmas is a Christian holiday which celebrates the beginning of the New Testament, God’s fulfillment, the birth of His only son, made human and ultimately sacrificed for His love for us and for our sins.

It’s fine that people want to gather around a holiday time, spend time with their family and such but that isn’t Christmas.  Because in Christmas, there is Christ. No Christ?  No Christmas.

You know what Christmas is without the “Christ”?  Well it’s just “mas” but more importantly, a Jewish comedian came up with a solution to Christmas minus the Christ. We call it Festivus.  It’s the festival for the rest of us.

So if you want to gather somewhere this Christmas and be with family, make sure you bring the aluminum pole and be sure to wrassle with your dad when feats of strength are declared.
