Americans are sick and tired of hearing “Obamacare” according to a new Marist University poll, ranking it as the word Americans want to hear least in the new year.
The poll, which was released Friday, found that four in ten Americans would be content without having to ever come across the nickname for President Obama’s Affordable Care Act ever again.
Unsurprisingly, Republicans are even more vehement about their disgust for the word, with 59 percent of them wishing they wouldn’t have to hear the word “Obamacare” come January. Just one in four Democrats are tired, however, of hearing about the new law.
