American Bridge, the pro-Democrat Super PAC that prides itself on opposition research and has made a name tracking Republican candidates and officeholders at quite literally every turn, has caused a firestorm of controversy after sending a tracker to a memorial service for the late Ray Burton Saturday.
News first broke that the group had jumped the shark by way of Twitter, from WMUR’s James Pindell.
“Put away your damn camera taping Kelly Ayotte and others,” read the tweet in part.
The backlash has been swift and topped of Monday by the New Hampshire Republican Party banning American Bridge from all future Granite State events.
