Interesting interview clip of Jim Brown. While I disagree with his assessment of Lyndon Johnson as a “conservative” (conservative and Southerner are NOT synonymous, and did he forget about Great Society liberal programs?), it was interesting that he said so and went out of his way to note that the “conservative” was the one that passed Civil Rights.
