Americans would rather see a return to how healthcare in the United States operated before the Affordable Care Act passed in 2010, according to the December 2013 Reason-Rupe poll.

The poll, which was released Wednesday, found that 55 percent of Americans prefer the old health care system in place before 2010 than the current law of the land. Just 34 percent of adults instead prefer Obamacare.

“It’s not going well for President Obama and his administration,” Reason-Rupe Polling Director Emily Ekins told Reason TV. “This is their signature law and right now a majority of Americans oppose the law.”

“This demonstrates that people do not see this as progress or a step forward as it was intended to be,” she added.
