In order to raise money for abortions in Texas, pro-choice organization Lady Parts Justice auctioned off a used vaginal napkin during the #TexasWomenForever fundraiser on Monday night.
The livestreamed fundraiser and telethon was hosted by comedians Lizz Winstead and Sarah Silverman. The duo was joined by the likes of University of Pennsylvania professor Anthea Butler, Joan Walsh and the cast of Orange is the New Black.
And during her time on the stage, Silverman said she was auctioning off a vaginal napkin that she had used, holding it up for the audience and livestream viewers to see.
