Thousands are feared dead in the Philippines after the destruction of Typhoon Haiyan. BBC is now saying as many as 10,000 may have been killed, and reports indicate that that number is still only accounting for a small area, and not the entire area affected by the massive storm.

Hundreds of thousands are now evacuating from low-lying regions in Vietnam and other parts of Asia, as Haiyan makes its way there.
