Unborn babies beg to differ.

On the same day that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) announced legislation to ban abortions nationwide after 20 weeks gestation to protect unborn babies from the pain of being aborted, Planned Parenthood Federation of America sent out mass e-mails and posted a press release on its website condemning the bill as “dangerous to women’s health and rights.”
“South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham just introduced a bill that would ban abortion at 20 weeks in every single state,” the email sent on Thursday states. “Tell your senators to oppose this dangerous attack on women’s health and rights.”
The e-mail claims that a bill similar to the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act passed by the House of Representatives has “virtually no exceptions” to the ban but, in fact, both bills provide exceptions for rape, incest or if the health of the mother is at stake.
