Immigrant lawbreakers are staging rallies all over the U.S. this week – claiming they should not be deported for violating our laws.  This signals a new strategy — inconvenience all of us legal law abiding citizens and when possible, terrorize and harass people who disagree with you.

In America, we are a nation of laws — not screaming, chanting, drum circling or occupying.  If you have a beef with the law you advocate to change it.  You don’t keep people from going to work, kids from going to school or harass people who disagree with you by taking over their offices and screaming at them.

“This is designed to tell Republicans that if you don’t take action on reform, there will be people who will take action in districts where Republicans are vulnerable to mobilize Latino and immigrant voters to reward or punish a member of Congress,” said Frank Sharry, executive director of America’s Voice, a leading national immigration advocacy group.
