(NYDN) — Mayor Bloomberg took the stage at the annual Inner Circle Saturday night and — after aborting an attempt to be Spider-Man — donned bell bottoms and platform shoes and cavorted with the cast of “Mamma Mia.”

Bloomberg first descended from the rafters with a cape as if he was Peter Parker but — just like the troubled big-budget musical — had to stop in mid-air due to technical difficulties.
