We reported earlier today on how the Syrian Electronic Army(SEA) compromised the OFA email account at barackobama.com.

This action exposed not only the language OFA uses in describing donations, i.e. the “cash haul”, but reveals how unprotected such accounts may be.

Indeed, the person in charge of the account, Suzanne Snurpus, apparently inadvertently posted a password for the WiFi at OFA in a picture from her Twitter account.

Additionally, last night, SEA claims it hacked the Barack Obama donation website at donate.barackobama.com, Twitter and Facebook accounts. The compromise of the website temporarily redirected to the SEA website. They posted tweets and Facebook updates linking to a video telling the “truth” about Syria.
