The three alleged terrorists who were killed in an explosion in Manghopir area last night were identified by the police on Friday, who said they belonged to the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP’s) Gul Hassan group.

Three suspected terrorists were blown into pieces when a bomb strapped in one of their motorcycles went off prematurely near Eidgah Ground in Ghazi Goth in the Manghopir area.

Their bodies were moved to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for postmortem, while the exploded device was being examined by the Bomb Disposal Squad and the Counter Terrorism Wing (CTW).

According to Raja Umer Khattab, chief of CTW of Crime Investigation Department (CID), Sindh, two of the killed suspects were identified as Mohammed Majid Baloch and Saqib Sheikh, both residents of Lyari and they were identified by their elder brothers who approached the police on Friday afternoon.

The third suspect was identified as Rafiullah but it would be confirmed after the DNA test.
