King Media Whore has found a surefire way to get his mug on TV, bash fellow Republicans.

Via The Hill:

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) says he hopes the House “will get some adult supervision from the Senate” to achieve a debt ceiling deal.

His comments on CNN’s “AC360” with Andersoon Cooper Tuesday night came on the heels of news that the scheduled nighttime vote on the House deal offered in the morning wouldn’t happen.

Lawmakers and aides on Capitol Hill confirmed to reporters House Republicans could not ratchet up enough support. Now, a plan to reopen the government and raise the debt ceiling is back in the Senate’s hands.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) came up with a deal Monday that would reopen the government through mid-December and extend the debt ceiling through mid-February.

King said he would vote for that deal, and blames Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for this fiscal mess.

“Ted Cruz has been a total fraud from the start,” King said. “It never could have succeeded. I can’t imagine going into battle knowing you can’t win and continue telling your people you are winning. It’s Never Never Land, parallel universes, whatever you want to call it.”
