Then again, we weren’t expecting Obama to hold anyone responsible for the disastrous Obamacare rollout.
Via Politico:
President Obama has “full confidence” in Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius despite the bumpy rollout of HealthCare.gov, the White House said Tuesday.
“The secretary does have the full confidence of the president,” press secretary Jay Carney told reporters, responding to a question about the “Fire Sebelius” movement that’s cropped up among Republicans.
Obama wants the problems with signups for health care exchanges “addressed” and has instructed his administration to take action to do so, Carney said.
While Democrats haven’t gone so far as to call for Sebelius’s resignation, Carney’s predecessor, Robert Gibbs, said Monday that people involved in the implementation should be fired.
