The Reverend Al Sharpton promoted his new book at the Free Library of Philadelphia this afternoon, saying it’s about life lessons, with anecdotes.
The book is called The Rejected Stone: Al Sharpton and the Path to American Leadership.
In his remarks to the audience, Sharpton said, “Whether you are middle class, whether you are poor white, whether you are Latino, whether you are gay, all of us have been rejects. And what we are seeing now is that a lot of society can not adjust to the fact that the rejects now have become the cornerstone of this country.”
