Update: Which begs the obvious question, how do you “accidentally” type the N-word?

(Politico) – White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer mistakenly tweeted out the “N-word” on Tuesday, quickly deleting the offending tweet and apologizing for the typo.

“Obviously a horrendous typo in my previous tweet. My apologies,” Pfeiffer tweeted Tuesday morning.

Pfeiffer was replying to a tweet from New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin about an NBC News post discussing how a changing media has contributed to an increase in political polarization.
