Why do I get the feeling they’re not being completely honest with us?

The White House doesn’t have details to share on how many people signed up for insurance during the first two days of enrollment on the individual marketplaces created by the Affordable Care Act.

“We don’t have that data,” White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Thursday.

Instead, Carney pointed to the 7 million unique visitors to HealthCare.gov since Tuesday, and said what matters at this point is the interest level of “potential enrollees” since there are still 180 days left for people to sign up.
