Total BS, the Obama regime has steadfastly refused to negotiate with Republicans from day one.

White House director of communications Jen Palmieri said Tuesday that the Obama Administration was willing to negotiate changes to the president’s signature health care law, but not under the pressure of the now-official government shutdown.

Palmieri said that the president was open to “constructive solutions” that improved the law without delaying or defunding its core tenants.

“What we’re not going to do is entertain those kind of solutions when there is a gun pointed to your head,” Palmieri told MSNBC.

That seemed to rule out the administration agreeing to any changes to ObamaCare as part of a deal on the federal budget or debt ceiling.
