Shellie Zimmerman said Thursday that a recent spat with her estranged husband, George Zimmerman, has left her with doubts about him and conflicted over what happened the night he shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
She spoke with NBC’s TodayShow in her first interview since the couple’s row at a family home in Florida Sept. 9.
She had told police in a 911 call that her husband had threatened her with a gun and had punched her father in the nose. The police said later that they did not find a gun, and she told Today’s Matt Lauer she never actually saw a gun.
