As far as the American public is concerned, the party is over — or at least it should be.
According to a new poll from Gallup, less than one out of every four Americans considers themselves a supporter of the Tea Party, a dip of 10 percent from three years ago and just one percentage point away from an all-time low.
Twenty-seven percent of Americans count themselves as opponents of the Tea Party, and 51 percent opted to stay on the sidelines and registered as neither or having no opinion.
