Clinton gives Republicans more credit than some Republicans give themselves.

WASHINGTON – Former President Bill Clinton on Sunday commended Republicans’ more effective message in the budget battle, even with a government shutdown looming in one week.
“We’ve got a lot of good ideas. But I think you’ve got to give it to the Republicans: They have a much more reliable media base and they just say ‘no,’” Clinton said on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS.”
“They know what they want. They want power to cut taxes, eliminate regulation, take government down except for what they like and they can fill the atmosphere with a lot of static,” said Clinton.
