This footage is taken from a longer video showing al-Qaeda’s Jabhat al-Nusra (Nusra Front) invasion of the ancient and mostly Christian town of Maaloula, the world’s only town where Aramaic is still spoken by its inhabitants. The suicide bomber, Abu Musaab, is seen sending a message prior to his “martyrdom” at the gate of the town, stating that they will do the same thing to Americans if they come to Syria to avenge the death of their Sheikh (leader) Osama bin Laden. It is worthy to mention that the invasion of Maaloula was a joint operation between Jabhat al-Nusra and John McCain’s moderate “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) brigade called ‘Bab Amr Revolutionaries’.
