Veteran journalist Piers Morgan couldn’t restrain himself today from commenting on the Navy Yard shooting that occurred today leaving 13 civilian and military personnel dead. The biggest issue with Piers’ tweet? It’s bologna. Closed Circuit Television Cameras (“CCTV”) on-base tell us a different story.
Seems the shooter entered the base (maybe) with a shotgun not an AR-15. Since the AR-15 is according to Piers a “military assault rifle” it would make sense for the navy to posses them and for the shooter to have stolen one huh? D’oh!
The Wash Navy Yard shooter had 3 guns including AR-15 assault rifle – same killing machine used at Aurora and Sandy Hook.
