On Friday’s The Cycle, the hosts of MSNBC reported on a series of delays that kept Jet Blue customers grounded on a variety of tarmacs for up to 90 minutes. The inconvenience for travelers was reported lightheartedly and the MSNBC hosts colored the segment with a famous scene from the movie Airplane. Host Krystal Ball appeared visibly disturbed by the mock violence depicted in that sequence.

“Krystal’s a little horrified by that,” Touré said after playing the famous sequence from the famous 1980 comedy.

“I am sort of horrified by that,” she agreed.

“No actual women were harmed in that,” Touré explained. “It’s stage hitting. No actual women were hurt in that clip.”

“It looked pretty real,” she added.
