Oh my, apparently the man has never read the Constitution and has no idea what he is saying. It is already the power of the Congress to give authorization; not POTUS. Already, the Democratic talking points are everywhere on how wonderful the President is to be going to Congress. Wonderful? He still says they don’t have the authority, he does. But now that he’s boxed himself in and has no other way out, he’ll be glad to foist the decision off on Congress. Ah, fecklessness…
