Run, Joe, run!
Via USA Today:
Slowly but surely, step by step, Joe Biden puts himself in position to run for president in 2016.
And while many observers don’t believe the vice president will run if Hillary Rodham Clinton does, a new story in The Wall Street Journal may persuade people to re-think that view.
The Journal reports that Biden’s allies are putting together plan for a potential Biden campaign to succeed President Obama — with or without competition from Clinton.
From the Journal:
“In private conversations, Mr. Biden’s advisers are talking about steps to prepare for his possible entry into the race. A political action committee, these people say, would allow Mr. Biden to raise and disburse money to favored candidates in the 2014 midterm elections, cementing ties to influential Democrats around the country in advance of a possible presidential bid.
