U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) today announced $2 million in federal Affordable Care Act Navigator funds for agencies and projects in New Jersey — including $565,000 for the Urban League of Hudson County — that will help enroll people in the new health insurance marketplace.

“Today’s announcement is another step forward in implementing the Affordable Care Act and ensuring that New Jerseyans will be able to access high quality, affordable health coverage in the marketplace starting in October,” Menendez said.

“These five organizations will help provide individuals and families throughout our state with unbiased, clear information — not only about the marketplace plans, but also their Medicaid and CHIP options.
