Sad how much power a disgusting race hustler like Sharpton holds over Dems.

The Democratic mayoral hopefuls spoke at the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network in Harlem on Saturday, slamming stop-and-frisk and condemning the slayings of Trayvon Martin and Ramarley Graham.

As they cozied up to Sharpton, the pols promised to attend the March on Washington this month to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the march led by the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn told a revved-up audience of black voters she was confident that she has the votes in the City Council to override Mayor Bloomberg’s veto of the inspector general bill for oversight of the NYPD.

But Controller Bill de Blasio — whom Sharpton introduced as the “father of the young man with the most famous Afro in the City of New York,” a nod to de Blasio’s biracial son — warned that the measure was far from a sure thing.

Anthony Weiner, who polls well among likely black voters even in the wake of his latest sexting scandal, said those who support civil rights have to stand together against the right wing.
