PHILADELPHIA – August 7, 2013 (WPVI) — An airliner from Ireland made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport on Wednesday afternoon following a reported bomb threat.
The call came in around 1:30 p.m. for reports of a suspicious device on a plane.
The U.S. Airways flight 777 from Shannon, Ireland has landed and is being taken to a secure area to be searched.
There are reportedly 177 people onboard the Boeing 757.
The FBI, TSA and Philadelphia Police are investigating.
