“The grievances we face in America have changed over time–just as the country has changed,” Rev. Al Sharpton said in an open letter to Bill O’Reilly on the Tuesday broadcast of his MSNBC program. “But today, there are still deep injustices that we must address. Our criminal justice system too often treats millions of Americans differently because of the color of their skin.”
“Having a grievance and fighting to change it, that’s not an industry. It’s one of the finest traditions in this great country, and it dates back to the earliest days of the United States,” Sharpton said.
