Scary how much influence a degenerate race baiter like Al Sharpton has over the Democratic party.

In a campaign event like no other, the five leading Democratic mayoral candidates will spend Saturday night sleeping in apartments at a sweltering city housing project.

The Rev. Al Sharpton is organizing the sleepover, at the Lincoln Houses on E. 135th St. in East Harlem, to spotlight conditions in public housing that have resulted from years of neglect.

The accommodations will be less than comfortable — and certainly not what the candidates are accustomed to.

They have been told to bring sleeping bags, which they will use atop air mattresses in crowded living rooms. Some of the apartments will have no air conditioning; others have only limited A.C.

“I don’t have no air to give them,” said one tenant who will host a candidate in her apartment, which felt tropical Friday at the height of the heat wave.

Democrats Christine Quinn, John Liu, William Thompson, Bill de Blasio and Anthony Weiner agreed to participate. Democrat Sal Albanese and Republicans John Catsimatidis and Joe Lhota said they had schedule conflicts.
