There are some lives not worth living, and a Down Syndrome baby is one of them – at least, according to Jezebel’s latest article.
Katie J. M. Baker recently bashed a pastor for rescuing an unborn Down Syndrome baby from abortion, insisting that “so many mistreated babies and kids with Downs live terrible lives” in Jezebel, a feminist blog detailing “celebrity, sex, fashion for women.” Rev. Thomas Vander Woude, a Catholic priest located in Gainesville, Va, offered to help the 6-month-pregnant mother of a Down Syndrome baby to locate an adoptive family as an alternative to abortion. When Rev. Woude sent the alarm via social media begging for prospective parents, responses flooded in by the hundreds.
