These people are deranged.

… My apologies to your Kickstarter that’s currently raising money for that magnificent celebrity hair documentary, but it looks like Connie Britton’s booked for the next few years. Not only will she continue to play Rayna James in Nashville, but the Internet also just booked her to play Senator Wendy Davis in a TV movie that’s probably going to start production in six minutes.

First of all, I love Connie Britton. I would let her sing me to sleep any night of the week. Second of all, I now love Wendy Davis. Not only did she make me question my complete lack of important accomplishments during her filibuster last night, but she actually saved the day. She saved it so hard that I think Ryan Gosling’s probably sitting at home trying to figure out how Wendy stole all his moves.  And while he’s doing that, Lifetime’s hunched over their writing table trying to figure out how to get this Moment of Truth: A Parliamentary Inquest in the Shadows movie out by the weekend. It will star Connie Britton as Wendy Davis and Rob Lowe as the murderous-senator-who-turns-out-to-be-Wendy’s-stepfather and Delta Burke as the other woman.

I, for one, can’t wait to see it.
