No, you won’t.
Via Politico:
Vice President Joe Biden, kicking off a renewed push on gun-control Tuesday, said he is optimistic that members of Congress will either pass measures to reduce gun violence or face the wrath of voters.
He said his optimism has been girded by phone calls from members who voted ‘no’ on expanded background checks for gun buyers last time and are now pleading, “‘Can you find a way, can you dfind a way to revisit this?'”
Biden announced that the administration has made significant progress on 23 executive actions President Obama ordered after the mass shootings at a Newtown elementary school last December. He touted the release of three emergency preparedness guides, for K-12 schools, post-secondary institutions and congregations of worship.
But he said admininstrative actions alone won’t be enough.
“We need Congress to act. The American people are demanding it,” Biden said, adding that polls after Newtown indicate a majority of Americans who support stricter gun-control laws now consider it a “defining issue” at the ballot box.
