I’m sure it makes sense in Biden’s feeble mind.

Via Politico:

Joe Biden said Saturday morning in Sunnyvale, Calif., he hasn’t changed his mind on the government’s collection of telephone call information, according to the pool report.

In a 2006 interview with CBS News, the then-Sen. Biden said that the Bush administration’s practice of collecting similar metadata was “very intrusive.”

“No, I was talking about a different program then,” Biden told the pool reporter on Saturday. “It was a different program.”

Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.) joined Biden at Hobee’s, a coffee shop chain in the Bay Area for a campaign-style stop, according to the pool report. The congressman from California is facing a tough primary challenge from Ro Khanna in the 17th District.
