Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) has had a full life and a full resume: Civil rights leader, congressman, author — and now, comic book star.
Lewis is the subject and co-author of a forthcoming graphic novel trilogy, called “March,” that Lewis collaborated on with Andrew Aysin and artist Nate Powell. The book is being billed by Top Shelf Productions as “the first graphic novel from a sitting member of Congress” and documents Lewis’s long-standing history with the civil rights movement.
