(GNA) — Twelve people were killed Tuesday in attacks across Iraq, security officials said.
Five soldiers were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a bomb blast near the northern city of Mosul.
Four members of one family were killed when gunmen attacked their home in a village near Baquba, 57 kilometres north-east of Baghdad.
Two al-Qaeda militants were also killed near Baquba when a roadside bomb they were planting exploded prematurely, security forces said.
