Obama uses the Constitution as toilet paper.
Via The Hill:
Recent revelations about the National Security Agency’s top-secret phone and Internet surveillance programs and the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative political groups are leaving voters skeptical that President Obama is doing a good job protecting constitutional rights.
According to a new poll released Wednesday by the Huffington Post, 45 percent of Americans say that Obama is doing a poor job protecting Americans’ constitutional rights. By contrast, 15 percent say he is doing a “fair” job, 23 percent say he’s doing a “good” job, and 11 percent say he’s doing an “excellent” job.
Americans are also skeptical of the White House’s argument that Obama has struck the right balance between civil liberties and national security. Three in 10 agree with that assertion, but a third of Americans say Obama has erred too much in the direction of defending against terrorism, while 15 percent say the president is too concerned with protecting civil liberties. Nearly a quarter of those surveyed say they don’t know.
