During a fundraiser in New York City last night, President Obama explained that he was anxious to accomplish important legislation in his second term.

“I want to get some stuff done. I don’t have a lot of time,” Obama explained. “I’ve got three and a half years left, and it goes by like that.” […]

Obama added that he was much more successful during his first term, thanks to Rep. Nancy Pelosi, who also attended the fundraiser.

“But what I also say is that during those two years that Nancy Pelosi was Speaker, man, we got a lot of stuff done,” he said as the crowd applauded.
