Does this mean we can pin them down and forcefully shave off their ironic mustaches?
Kinda funny considering this was conducted by the Democratic polling firm PPP.

Beware, Brooklyn: Many Americans don’t like hipsters, and a quarter of them are open to levying a new tax on hipsters for being so annoying.
Those are two of the findings from a new Public Policy Polling survey that showed that 16 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of hipsters and 42 percent have an unfavorable opinion of the thick-glasses-wearing, urban, progressive counterculture.
“We asked voters whether they thought hipsters made a positive cultural contribution to society or whether they just ‘soullessly appropriate cultural tropes from the past for their own ironic amusement,’” the poll analysis reads. “Twenty-three percent of voters said they made positive cultural contributions, while nearly half — 46 percent — went with soulless cultural appropriation.”
The poll also found that most Americans don’t think Pabst Blue Ribbon, often guzzled by hipsters, is a good beer and that an overwhelming majority of Americans — 86 percent — are less likely to support a hipster seeking public office. The percentage jumps to 98 percent among Republicans.
