Indonesian police have arrested three men and a woman who they say were planning to bomb the Myanmar embassy in Jakarta.

Anti-terrorism officers raided two bomb workshops in the capital overnight.

Explosives and five pipe bombs were seized during the stings at properties in south and central Jakarta.

National police spokesman Brigadier General Boy Rafli says the suspected target was the Myanmar embassy.

Police say they believe the attack was planned as revenge for the mistreatment of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
