Shockingly, people aren’t all that interested in the over-priced official car of the Obama administration.

Washington — General Motors Co. said Volt sales fell by 11 percent in April, while the lower-priced electric Nissan Leaf reported a second straight month of strong sales.

Volt sales fell to 1,306, and are now up just 3.2 percent for the year.

Recently lower gas prices have been a factor in struggling electric vehicle sales, but automakers are still rolling out lots of new EVs this year to meet zero-emission requirements from California and other states.
