From the administration that likes to boast it doesn’t deal with lobbyists.

President Obama’s political arm has registered itself to lobby in New York State, where it last month threw its support behind a campaign finance reform push.

Organizing for Action told the New York State Joint Commission on Public Ethics that it plans to lobby the governor and state senate to support the campaign finance reform push, which was introduced in the state assembly in February.

OFA’s chief of staff, Grant Campbell, wrote to the state commission last month that OFA will exceed the state’s $5,000 threshold to register as a lobbyist.
