Michelle Obama will be giving commencement addresses in Kentucky, Maryland and Tennessee this graduation season.

The first lady will address graduates at Eastern Kentucky University on May 11 as part of her Joining Forces initiative. The school has an outstanding record supporting veterans and military families, according to the White House.

She will speak at Bowie State University in Bowie, Md., on May 17. It is the oldest historically-black university in the state.

And she’ll be at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Academic Magnet High School for Health Sciences and Engineering in Nashville on May 18. It is ranked as one of the best public schools in the nation and its curriculum emphasizes math and science.
