Drew — This might make John Boehner cry.

Since the Republicans’ lobbyist financiers handed them $14 million at a fancy dinner last week, we’ve had 35,449 new members come on board. That’s a new record!

We’re SO close to matching them, but we need 3,420 new members on board before the FEC deadline in 34 hours. I’m told that you’re one of the supporters who helped us win the White House and Senate in the last election — so you obviously know what’s at stake.

And you understand that if we don’t match them, the Republicans will block every important piece of President Obama’s agenda. But I see that your 2013 membership is still pending:
